On May 21, our young researchers came together in a joint event with the CRC 1277 for a one-day Seyens method workshop on visual communication, led by Dr. Jernej Zupanc. Following preparatory online sessions, the in-person event focused on practical training to improve how we present our research.
Through hands-on exercises using our own slides, figures, and posters, They explored how to communicate complex ideas more clearly and effectively. In group discussions and peer feedback rounds, they practiced how to make scientific content more accessible and engaging—whether for talks, papers, or posters.
